Corporate Christmas Party & Awards Evening
120+ Guests | Fifth Year Running
This annual corporate Christmas event has become a fixture in the company calendar, and I’ve now delivered it for the fifth consecutive year as a trusted event manager.
Each year, the brief evolves, but the expectations remain high. The event needs to feel celebratory and engaging for a guest list of over 120 people. For this particular year, the theme was a modern masquerade, paired with a formal awards ceremony woven into the evening.
My role covered full event planning and delivery, from concept development and supplier coordination through to timeline management on the night. One of the key challenges was structuring the awards ceremony so it felt like a natural part of the evening, not an interruption. This involved careful pacing, clear transitions, and close coordination with speakers, AV teams and the venue.
Design-wise, the masquerade theme was interpreted in a restrained, contemporary way. The focus was on atmosphere rather than novelty, ensuring the styling elevated the space without overpowering it. Lighting, table details and room layout were all considered to support both the social and formal elements of the evening.
Having delivered this event multiple times for the same client, trust is central to the relationship. The internal team knows the process, understands how decisions are made, and relies on me to anticipate issues before they arise. On the night itself, the event runs calmly and efficiently, allowing the client to be fully present with their guests.
This project highlights long-term client relationships, repeat delivery, and the ability to evolve an event year after year while maintaining consistency and quality.
