Two-Day Corporate Retreat

New Venue | New Team | Multi-Day Programme

This two-day corporate retreat was designed to bring together a growing team in a new environment, combining structured sessions with social moments and shared meals.

Hosted at a new venue, the retreat required careful planning to ensure the space worked across multiple formats: meetings, informal networking, and dining. My role involved coordinating the full programme, managing logistics across both days, and ensuring the experience felt seamless for attendees.

The retreat included multiple sessions, three meals across the two days, and a two-course dinner on both evenings. Each element needed to flow naturally into the next, without guests feeling rushed or unsure of what was happening.

A strong focus was placed on clarity. Clear timings, well-managed transitions, and thoughtful use of the venue helped the retreat feel organised without being rigid. Meals were used as social anchors, allowing the team to connect outside of structured sessions, while the dinner was positioned as a highlight rather than an afterthought.

Working with a new venue and a guest chef added an extra layer of coordination. This involved aligning catering, room layouts and service timings to ensure everything ran smoothly, even with a team unfamiliar with the space.

The result was a retreat that felt well-paced, giving the client confidence that their team was looked after and their objectives were met. For attendees, the experience felt relaxed, social and considered, rather than overly corporate.

This project reflects my approach to corporate events that span more than one day: detailed planning behind the scenes, clear communication throughout, and an experience that feels human.
