A New Chapter in Floral Design at Maroux

We’ve always loved the way these details can change a space, and I'm delighted to be bringing floral design further into the world of Maroux.

From intimate birthday dinners and private celebrations to corporate events, brand experiences and weddings, we will be offering bespoke floral styling to complement the wider design of your event.

Beautiful flowers, considered palettes and arrangements with personality

Not just flowers for the table

Florals can take many forms, and I don't believe every event needs the same approach.

Sometimes, a handful of beautiful stems in carefully chosen vessels is exactly right. Sometimes, the brief calls for an abundant tablescape, an entrance framed with flowers or a statement installation that becomes the focal point of the room.

Both have their place.

For a private birthday celebration, we might create a series of arrangements that bring colour and texture to the table without overwhelming it. For a corporate dinner, the florals might be more sculptural, working with the brand palette and the architecture of the venue. For a wedding, we might explore everything from considered table arrangements to a more dramatic ceremony feature.

The scale is not what makes a floral design successful. It is how well it works with everything around it.

For the people who love the details

This is particularly exciting for clients who want their event to feel cohesive from the very beginning.

Rather than choosing flowers separately from the rest of the styling, we can consider them alongside the linens, lighting, furniture, fabric installations and overall colour palette.

Imagine an orangery dressed with soft, flowing fabric and sculptural seasonal flowers. A long dinner table with beautifully restrained arrangements and candlelight. A brand event where the florals introduce an unexpected note of colour against a clean, architectural setting.

The possibilities are endless, but the thinking behind them is always the same: the design should feel considered, and every element should have a reason for being there.

A little less predictable

I am particularly drawn to floral designs that have some individuality.

Interesting silhouettes. Contrasting textures. Unexpected combinations of colour. Arrangements that feel contemporary without losing the natural beauty of the flowers themselves.

That might mean a more restrained palette with plenty of movement, or something bolder that brings real energy to a space. It could be a few beautifully chosen seasonal stems or a much larger installation.

There is room for romance, of course, but there is also room to be playful, architectural and a little edgy.

And that is exactly how I want floral design at Maroux to feel.

Weddings, private celebrations and corporate events

This new offering is open to couples planning their wedding, private hosts organising a birthday or special occasion, and businesses looking to elevate an event for their clients, teams or guests.

We can help with floral styling as part of a wider event design, or discuss the floral requirements of your event and develop a proposal around your brief.

Whether you are planning a wedding in Hampshire, hosting a private dinner in Dorset or organising a corporate event that needs something a little more distinctive, we would love to hear from you.

Our approach is bespoke, with the flowers, scale and styling shaped around the occasion, venue and available budget.

Flowers, with the Maroux point of view

For me, this is a natural extension of what Maroux already does.

We have always looked at the whole space, rather than treating each decorative element as a separate decision. Bringing florals further into that process gives us another way to create atmosphere, introduce texture and make an event feel truly individual.

So, if you have a celebration coming up, a corporate event on the horizon or an idea you've been saving for the right occasion, let's talk flowers.

Small details or statement installations. A little colour or something with considerably more attitude.

Tell us what you're planning, and let's see what we can create together.

Maroux floral design is now available for weddings, private celebrations and corporate events across Hampshire, Dorset and beyond.
