Beyond the Launch
A space that makes you stop and reach for your phone.
For brands, creators and PR teams, the opportunity is much bigger than putting a product on display. It's about creating an experience that people want to be part of, talk about and share.
This is where Maroux comes in.
We design and style considered, visually distinctive events for brands, from intimate influencer dinners and content days to product launches, press previews and larger brand experiences. The approach is editorial rather than formulaic, with every detail considered in relation to the brand, the audience and the occasion.
A different approach to the brand event
Take an automotive launch. The car is the obvious centrepiece, but what happens around it is just as important.
The setting, the lighting, the arrival experience and the way guests move through the space all influence how a product is perceived. The challenge is to create an environment that feels worthy of the product without distracting from it.
For a Porsche electric Cayenne concept, I explored a direction built around sculptural fabric, a considered palette of white, navy and warm neutrals, and a framework that could bring the installation together around the vehicle.
Rather than relying on conventional launch dressing, the idea was to use fabric and structure to create a more architectural setting. Something with presence, but with enough restraint to let the car remain the focus.
It is the sort of design thinking I love: starting with the product, understanding the brand and finding a way to make the entire setting feel intentional.
Because luxury isn't necessarily about adding more. It is about knowing what deserves attention.
Designed for the room, and the camera
Influencer and creator events come with an additional consideration. The experience needs to work in person, but it also needs to translate beautifully into photography and video.
That doesn't mean creating a room full of obvious photo opportunities or putting a branded backdrop in every corner.
It means thinking about light, composition, texture and perspective. Where will guests naturally gather? What will the space look like through a phone camera? Is there a detail that will catch someone's eye without feeling as though it has been designed solely for social media?
Fabric installations can be particularly effective here, creating depth and movement where a blank venue might otherwise feel flat. Florals can introduce colour, shape and texture, from sculptural arrangements to more abundant installations. Lighting, furniture and carefully placed brand details complete the picture.
The aim is to create a space that photographs well because it looks exceptional, not because it has been overdesigned for the algorithm.
Flowers, fabric and creative freedom
Not every brand event needs flowers. But when they are right for the brief, they can completely change the feel of a space.
For a beauty launch, that might mean an expressive floral installation with an unexpected colour palette. For a fashion event, it could be sculptural branches, restrained arrangements or a dramatic composition that feels almost like an exhibition. For a private client hosting a select group of creators, it might be beautiful table flowers, candlelight and fabric detailing that makes an intimate dinner feel special.
At Maroux, floral design sits alongside our wider event styling, giving us the freedom to consider how all the elements work together.
We can take a light touch approach or develop something more immersive, depending on the brand, the venue and the budget.
There is no need to make every event look the same. In fact, quite the opposite.
For brands with something to say
From fashion and beauty to automotive, lifestyle and hospitality, the most interesting events begin with a clear point of view.
We work with brands and their teams to explore the creative direction, consider the venue and develop the styling around what the event needs to achieve. That might involve fabric installations, floral design, tablescapes, backdrops or the wider transformation of a space.
We can work alongside your existing PR agency, production company or marketing team, or help develop the creative direction from the outset.
The aim is always to create something that feels connected to the brand rather than borrowed from another event.
Let's make something worth showing up for
Maroux is based in Hampshire and works on weddings, private events and brand experiences across the South of England and further afield.
If you are planning an influencer event, a product launch, a press preview or a brand dinner, we'd love to hear what you have in mind.
Whether you have a fully formed creative brief or a product and a venue waiting for a little imagination, let's talk.
The best events don't simply give people somewhere to go. They give them something to remember.
